"Incredible food, all carefully sourced by the new owner who is extremely passionate about what he does. Highly recommend the Asado steak and venison loin. Amazing sides and puddings. You will not leave hungry! Very dog friendly. Makes own gin and rum too - great Xmas presents."

I hardly ever do reviews but this place truly warrants one. From the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and fantastic. The food was literally to die for and service impeccable. I would drive a long way to come back here. Very much dog friendly too which is important for many of us. Plenty of character and lots of space too

Having been here in the past the new management have made a vast improvements. Menu is very good , staff on the case, friendly and welcoming, atmosphere very nice. Well done to all involved.

"Amazing food. Great atmosphere, great staff. (Thanks Eden) Popped in from the campsite and didn’t expect such lush food. All other dishes I could see looked amazing too. Probably the best burger I’ve ever had. Definitely definitely go back again when down that way."

"What a turnaround for this pub under new owners. Great food, lovely setting and friendly staff. The quiz night on Tuesday is really fun. Plus the best pub Sunday Lunch we have had in a long time. Highly recommend the beef or steak sharing boards. Delicious food in front of the log fire. Portions are huge. Dogs welcome."

"Wow! I wished I lived closer to this pub... We booked a table for 8. The food is just outstanding, this fish on the fish and chips was like eating battered air wow! The staff are just fantastic and very helpful. Inside the decor is rustic, modern and cosy."
